Q.  How do I report a computer problem?
A.  A computer work order should be submitted through the CIS Work Order System.

Q.  How do I report a phone problem?
A.  A computer work order should be submitted through the CIS Work Order System.

Q.  Can I access email from home?
A.  Yes, under "BUSD Staff" page on the District's web site you can click on the Outlook Web Access button. You will be prompted to enter your user name and password.Your username should include the domain you belong to.

Q.  How do I check my computer work order status?
AYou can check the status of your work order in the CIS Work Order System. Also when a technician works on your work order, you are notified by a computer work order response form. This form is emailed to the person who opened the work order.

.  How do I create a shortcut for Ren Place?
ATo set up an icon:
  1. Right click the mouse on desktop
  2. Go to "New"
  3. Go to "Shortcut"
  4. Type in web address:  https://hosted245.renlearn.com/268300/
  5. Click on "Next"
  6. Type in "Renaissance Place"  - Click on "Finish" - an icon will appear on your desktop
Q.  How do I create the ABI shortcut?
ATo set up an icon:
  1. Right click the mouse on desktop
  2. Go to "New"
  3. Go to "Shortcut"
  4. Type in web address:  https://abi.bonita.k12.ca.us/abi/default.htm
  5. Click on "Next"
  6. Type in "abi" or whatever you want to name your icon - Click on "Finish" - an icon will appear on your desktop
Q.  When checking email from home, I receive an "Access Denied" message. Why can't I check my email?
ASeveral reasons can cause this. The common reasons are: you mistyped your password, username, domain or your password has expired.

Q.  How do I set my default printer?
AOpen Printers and Faxes. Right-click the printer you want to use as the default printer, and then click Set as Default Printer. A check mark appears next to the printer icon in Printers and Faxes.

Q.  My Dell projector will not power on.
AIf your dell projector is square with black sides and has a "Lamp" amber light being displayed by the power button then unplug the power cable from the back of the unit for 30 seconds (hardware reset). Plug the power cable back in to the unit and the "Lamp" light should be off. Power on the unit, if the "Lamp" amber light displays again submit a work order for repair. If your Dell projector does not power on and you do not have a "Lamp" indicator then submit a work order for repair. If your Dell projector has rounded edges and is all gray then submit a work order for repair.

ACheck the unit and determine is an amber "Lamp" indicator is being displayed. If the "Lamp" indicator is on and your Dell projector is square with black sides then wait 10-15 minutes (cool down period) then remove the power cable from the back of the unit for 3 minutes (hardware reset). Plug the power cable back in to the unit and the "Lamp" light should be off. Power on the unit, if the "Lamp" amber light displays again submit a work order for repair. If your Dell projector does not power on and you do not have a "Lamp" indicator then submit a work order for repair. If your Dell projector has rounded edges and is all gray then submit a work order for repair.
