Dear Bonita Unified Community,
As we wrap up the 2024-25 school year, we do so with great pride in the accomplishments of our students, teachers, and staff. This year has been filled with historic firsts, meaningful learning opportunities, and moments that reflect the strength of our Bonita Unified community.
From a culinary championship to award-winning theater performances, our students continue to represent Bonita on both the local and national level. The San Dimas High School culinary team brought home the District’s first-ever National ProStart Invitational title, while Ramona Middle School’s Drama Society earned top honors at two thespian festivals, exemplifying creativity and career readiness as cornerstones of our District.
As part of our commitment to inclusion, Gladstone and Ekstrand elementary schools hosted events that promoted empathy, celebrated neurodiversity, and helped students learn how to support peers of all abilities.
These achievements and experiences, and so many others, are made possible through the dedication of our staff working tirelessly behind the scenes. From classrooms to courtside, their commitment laid the foundation for a year marked by progress, ensuring students had what they needed to move forward with confidence.
As we bid farewell to this year’s Class of 2025, we celebrate their hard work and the impact they have made at our schools. Whether our graduates are heading to college, starting a career, or exploring new opportunities, they leave Bonita Unified prepared for the challenges ahead.
On behalf of the Board of Education, thank you to our students, employees, families, and community partners for making this school year a resounding success. I wish you a safe and restful summer, and I look forward to another inspiring year ahead in 2025-26.
Sincerely,
Matt Wien
