Purchasing Technology Equipment
The CIS department is here to assist departments in the purchasing of new technology equipment.  To ensure consistency of service the CIS department creates standards for all technology devices purchased throughout the district.  Below are standard quotes for equipment available for purchase.  These quotes may be used in the creation of a requisition.  If you need a custom quote or need assistance please contact the District's Lead Computer Technician, Kathleen Thurman at extension 5272.

Process
Similar to all other purchase, computing devices are purchased utilizing the district's Tyler Munis system. 
  1. Request a quote from CIS for the technology item you wish to purchase.
    •  CIS maintains an active list of quotes that can be viewed here  (can only be viewed from a DO computer)
  2. School Principals, Secretaries, Directors or other authorized purchasers should create a requisition within Munis.
    • Technology equipment requisition will be approved by your designated approver
    • CTO reviews all technology purchases.
  3. Equipment will be delivered to the District Office Warehouse.
    • Computers, Ipads will be sent to the CIS department for configuration and then back to the warehouse for delivery.  A technology work order will be opened to track the item until installation.
    • Chromebooks will be sent directly to the school after being received.
