CalPERS /CalSTRS Retirement
CalPERS and STRS plans are defined retirement benefit plans funded by employee contributions, employer contributions, and earnings made on investments. Eligible employees contribute a percentage of their salary, which accrues interest under their individual CalPERS/STRS account.
